The Benton Area School District, 600 Green Acres Road, Benton, PA 17814 is accepting bids for the following projects: 1. LR Appleman Elementary School HVAC Upgrade Project 2. Biomass Boiler Building Upgrade Project Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, a cashier's check, or the bid of an approved Surety Company, in an amount of not less than 10% of the amount of the proposal. Check or bond shall be drawn in favor of the Benton Area School District. Proposals may not be withdrawn by the Bidder for a period not to exceed 60 calendar days following the actual date of the opening thereof, except as provided by Act No. 4 (1974) of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Notice is herby given that the project for which construction proposals are being solicited hereby is a project constituting public works and is subject to applicable provisions of the Prevailing Wage Act/Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive, at its discretion, any or all irregularities, mistakes, omissions, or informalities relative thereto.
