Building additions to the existing Friendswood High School: Miscellaneous renovations inside this existing building and associated site improvements on campus. The additions are fully-sprinkled one- and two-story buildings (with spread footings, both slab-on-grade and structural slab foundations, steel frame, masonry cavity walls, and exterior metal panels) which will include a Performing Arts Center addition (auditorium black box and associated support spaces); and an athletics addition (competition gym, locker rooms, storage rooms and offices); and a non-sprinkled stand-alone building for locker rooms and storage near the tennis courts. Renovations inside the existing building include selective demolition inside the existing competition gym to be renovated into an auxiliary gym and lockers rooms; selective demolition and renovation of the existing Choir and Band area; selective demolition and renovation of the existing Auditorium into a CTR Engineering Suite with Robotics area and computer classrooms; selective demolition and renovation of existing Performing Arts classrooms into a CTA Culinary Lab with classrooms; selective demolition and renovation of an existing CTE Engineering Suite into a CTR Audio/Visual Studio with classrooms; and various architectural updated and MEPT improvements throughout the school.
