The work to be performed under this contract consists of renovating existing men's and women's restrooms. The existing men's restroom will be divided into two separte restrooms. The necessary demolition work will consist of but limited to the removal of existing floor tile, sinks, urinals, doors and partitians, ceiling fixtures including lights and vents, etc. as per plans. Construction of the two new restrooms consists of but not limited to installing a new wall to separate the two restrooms, floor and wall tile, plumbing and electrical work, etc. as per plans The existing women's restroom demolition/renovation consists of but not limited electrical work, plumbing adjustments, and removal of all plumbing fixtures, doors and partitians, etc. as per plans together with all associated appurtenances to complete this project in the City of Irving. The City of Irving (the "City") is contracting for renovations for the Georgia Farrow Recreation Center Restroom Renovation Project, which is located in a CDBG-eligible area. The Project will be financed in whole or in part with assistance from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and is subject to all applicable Federal laws and regulations. Bidders must comply with all applicable HUD rules and regulations governing construction projects funded with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.
