No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 consecutive calendar days after bid opening except as provided in Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must be licensed contractors in the state(s) in which the work is to be completed. The Town of Wake Forest is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The Town of Wake Forest has adopted a goal of 10% for participation by minority or women-owned business for formal contracts awarded for construction by the Town. The Bidder must include completed minority or women-owned subcontractor documentation form(s) regardless of bid amount or the bids may be considered non-responsive and invalid. Bidders will be required to show evidence that they are licensed to perform the work in the Bidding Documents as required by North Carolina General Statute, Article 1 of Chapter 87, and the Instruction to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any or all bids. The closure of existing alum lagoons and related structures, removal of three aboveground storage tanks (ASTs) used for the storage of chemicals at the former Town of Wake Forest, G.G. Hill Water treatment plant. B. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services, and incidentals necessary to complete all work required by the Contract Documents to furnish and install all work as shown on the Drawings and specified herein. C. Complete the Work, in place, tested, and ready for continuousservice. Perform or provide repairs, replacements, and restoration required as a result of damages resulting from construction operations. D. Furnish and install all materials, equipment, and incidentals, which are reasonably and properly inferable and necessary for the proper completion of the Work, whether specifically indicated in the Contract Documents, or not. The G.G. Hill Water Treatment Plant is located approximately 500 feet east of the intersection of Jones Dairy Road and NC Highway 98 Bypassin Wake Forest, Wake County, North Carolina
