Also, a Consultant that responds to this Project advertisement as a Prime may not be included as a designated subcontractor to another Consultant that responds as a Prime to this Project advertisement. Multiple responses under any of the foregoing situations may cause the rejection of all responses involving those Consultants. The above does not preclude a subcontractor from being set forth as a designated subcontractor to more than one (1) Prime responding to this Project advertisement. Questions concerning submissions and procedures shall be submitted to the MDTA's Office of Procurement, via email to mdtaprocurement@mdta.state.md.us with a cc response to Paul Becker at pbecker@mdta.state.md.us. and submitted no later than 2:00 P.M. on March 1, 2022. The MDTA project number must be referenced in the email subject line. Problems submitting emails shall be reported to the MDTA at 410-537-7831. All addendums to this advertisement will be posted only on eMaryland Marketplace Advantage ("eMMA"). Therefore, it is recommended that Proposers regularly check eMMA. Consultants shall have the ability to provide background investigation results for Consultant personnel assigned to work on MDTA projects, especially inspections at signature and critical structures including the Bay Bridge suspension spans and the Baltimore Harbor or Fort McHenry Tunnel ventilation systems. Proposals sent by U.S. Postal Service should be sent to the address listed above. Late proposals will not be considered. Hand or commercial delivery is recommended and should be delivered to the address stated above. MDTA is not responsible for proposals received late regardless of the method of shipment or delivery. MDTA reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received in response to this request and is not liable for any cost incurred by any Consultant in connection with the preparation and presentation of proposals. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
