Renovation of a swimming pool in Shreveport, Louisiana. Working plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.
As of June 22, 2022 bids were rejected. No definite date for the rebid. Remove existing liner and repair of swimming pool surface. Apply concrete repair compound to pool walls and bottom. Paint pool walls and bottom with pool paint. Provide new drain covers and provide new pool gutter covers. Provide work to existing pool equipment as indicated on drawings An acceptable Bid Bond, Cashiers Check, or Certified Check payable to the City of Shreveport, in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid including all additive alternates must accompany the bid. When the total contract amount with alternates is $50,000 or more, a 100% performance bond shall be required. When the total contract amount with alternates is $25,000 or more, a 50% payment bond shall be required. Q & A deadline: Apr 26, 2022 3:00:00 PM EDT The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids for just cause, as permitted by LA R.S. 38:2214 (B), received as a result of this request. The work is to commence within ten (10) days from the date of Notice to Proceed.
