Site work and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Springfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.
The City of Springfield invites all interested, qualified persons or firms capable of providing the requested services, to submit bids to enter into an agreement to provide Abatement of VAT for Springfield Public Day High School in Springfield, MA 01151.Work includes, but is not limited to: Asbestos Abatement of flooring and associated materials including cove base as designated in the Contract Documents. All work shall be performed by a Massachusetts licensed Asbestos Abatement Contractor in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. Estimated value of the contract is approximately $100,000.00. All questions regarding this bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than February 25, 2022 by 4:30 P.M. (nwalker@springfield cityhall.com) in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent (20%) MWBE participation applies. Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Chief Procurement Officer or designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
