County - Warren Route - KY-234 Item No. - 3-8854.00 Project Description - Major widening/reconstruction of Cemetery Road (KY-234) from Fountain Trace to Roger Porter Road (MP 7.878 to MP 9.625) Project Manager - Stewart Lich, P.E. User Division - Highway Design Approximate Fee - $750,000 Preliminary Engineering, Final Engineering & Environmental Services (Lump Sum) Project Funding - SPP Funds (State Funds) Project Length - Approximately 1.747 miles KY-234 between MP 7.878 and MP 9.625 is a two lane facility that services residential developments along with travelers between Barren River Lake/Scottsville and Bowling Green. The purpose of this project is to address deficiencies in lane/shoulder width along with an unforgiving roadside. First Selection Meeting: March 7, 2022 Final Selection: March 23, 2022 Pre-Design Conference: March 30, 2022 Consultant Fee Proposal: April 8, 2022 Contract Negotiations: April 20, 2022 Notice to Proceed: May 11, 2022 The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
