Purchase of HVAC Ventilators at Centennial, Golden Valley, Liberty, Ridgeview, and Stockdale High Schools. This project is anticipated to start on or before the fifth day after the date of the Owner's Notice to Proceed. Estimated delivery of the HVAC ventilation units shall be July 6, 2022. Delivery dates will need to be coordinated with Brandi Rodriguez, Assistant Director, Business Services Procurement/Warehouse at 661-827-3178. Owner will determine the order of priority of sites with the successful bidder. Federal funds are being used either in whole or in part for this project (see the Instructions to Bidders), therefore this project is subject to, and CONTRACTOR must comply with, all applicable Federal laws including but not limited to the Federal Regulations set forth in CFR Title 2, Part 200. Accordingly, CONTRACTOR agrees to comply with all such Federal requirements. Subject to Uniform Grants guidance. Those regulations contain a requirement that capital expenditures for general purpose equipment, buildings and land, including material improvements thereto, are allowable as direct costs only with prior written approval of the federal awarding agency or pass-through entity (i.e. California Department of Education), as found in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) in 2 CFR 200.439(a). Similarly, special purpose equipment are allowable as direct costs, provided that items with a unit cost of $5,000.00 or more have prior written approval as found in 2 CFR 200.439. For all contracts above $25,000.00 that utilize Federal funds, the Contracts Coordinator must verify if the contractor is debarred or suspended on the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) website. The Federal Procurement Standards contain additional requirements for purchases above $250,000.00. District staff considering purchases using Federal funds above this amount are advised to consult with Business Services for specific requirements that may apply to your purchase.
