Site work and paving for a civil project in Whitethorn, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
EPV: $637,000 - $770,000 No pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project. The prime Contractor for the work herein shall possess the following valid State of California licenses: ìAî - General Engineering or C-12 Earthwork and Paving at the time this Contract is awarded. The work embraced herein shall be done in accordance with the 2018 Standard Specifications, and the 2018 Standard Plans, of the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) insofar as the same may apply and in accordance with the following special provisions. Contractor shall provide, at the time of the execution of the agreement or contract for the work, at his own expense, a surety bond in an amount equal to at least one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price as security for the faithful performance of said agreement. Contractor shall also provide, at the time of the execution of the agreement or contract for the work, and at his own expense, a separate surety bond in an amount equal to at least one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price as security for the payment of all persons performing labor and furnishing materials in connection with said agreement. Sureties on each of said bonds shall be satisfactory to the County Counsel.
