The Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority (SRTA), dba rabbittransit is requesting Quotes for the services described as follows. The Authority will receive quotes related to costs necessary for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of two elevators located at the Middletown Train Station. The organization serves and maintains locations in Adams, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Harrisburg City, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Union and York Counties. All quotes and contracts are subject to all applicable Commonwealth and Federal laws and to a financial assistance contract between the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and the individual agencies listed herein. All costs incurred by proposers in the development of their quotes in responding to this RFQ are the sole responsibility of the quoting firms. No such costs will be reimbursed by the agency or any individual agency involved in this procurement. Furthermore, proposers must not include such costs as part of their quotes to perform any work described in this solicitation. SRTA hereby notifies all proposers that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this RFP advertisement or solicitation, disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE's) will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an award. The Authorities reserves the right to postpone, accept or reject any and all quotes and to waive any informality in the RFP process as the Authorities deem in any of their own best interest. Quotes received after the specified closing time will be considered late quotes and will not be evaluated for award. Misdirected submittals will not be accepted.
