Expressway 83 San Benito, Texas 78586 (956) 247-3500 If the work is not completed within the time stipulated in the applicable bid for Lump Sum or Unit Price Contract provided, the Contractor shall pay to the Locality as fixed, agreed, and liquidated damages (it being impossible to determine the actual damages occasioned by the delay) the amount of Two-Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250.00) for each calendar day of delay, until the work is completed. The Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty which shall not be less than 5 percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. At the option of the Bidder, the guaranty. Full (100%) performance and payment bonds are required on all contracts in excess of $25,000.00. The County reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of any bid, waiver minor technicalities. The County of Cameron reserves the right to award by item category or by total bid.
