Site work for a water / sewer project in Youngsville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project will consist of replacement of approximately 68 lead gooseneck sections of water service lines, and an alternate bid for replacement of water service lines, curb stops and curb boxes. Bidders must be on record at the issuing office as an official plan holder. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record as having obtained the Contract Documents. Each bid must be submitted on the bid form provided in the bidding documents and accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified or cashier s check or bid bond with corporate surety payable to Borough of Youngsville in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid price. Contractors must apply with the Davis Bacon Wage Rate, as specified in the Contract Documents. Bids may be held by the Borough for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications for bidders prior to awarding the contract. Borough of Youngsville reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
