This work shall consist of providing materials, equipment, and labor to install tile on County Road #2, County Road #4, County Road #8, County Road #10, County Road #17, and County Road #23 as shown on the attached map, in accordance with the following specifications, and as directed by the County Engineer and/or Road Foreman. NOTICE TO DRAIN TILE CONTRACTORS Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received for tiling approximately 183,280 linear feet of Richland County Roads No. 2, 4, 8, 10, 17, and 23. Bids shall be received at the office of the Richland County Auditor, County Courthouse, 418 Second Avenue North, Wahpeton, North Dakota, until 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 1st, 2022 and then at the commission meeting room at the courthouse, the County Commission will publicly open and read aloud same. Each bid must be submitted upon the basis of cash payment for the work, on blanks furnished by the Highway Department, and shall be accompanied by a separate envelope containing an acceptable bidder's bond and contractor's license. Bid proposals may be obtained at the Richland County Highway Department, 418 Second Avenue North, Wahpeton North Dakota. All bids must be submitted in a bidding envelope that is securely sealed. The envelope shall be plainly marked "Drain Tile Bids" and shall have the name of the person, firm, or corporation submitting the bid. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bids received and to accept any bid deemed to be most favorable to the interests of Richland County.
