The District reserves the right to withhold contract payments if the District is notified, or determines as the result of its own investigation, that Contractor is in violation of any of the requirements set forth in Labor Code section 1720 et seq. at no penalty or cost to the District. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project (awarded on or after April 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. Contractor is hereby made aware of the requirements of Education code section 45125.1 which requires employees of any entity that has a contract with a school district to have certain employees who will have contact with students to be fingerprinted pursuant to that law.
