Site work for a road / highway in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
This project consists of removing and replacing existing special markings and installing new special markings. Prospective bidders shall conform to the Michigan Department of Transportation prequalification requirements. All subcontractors shall be required to meet the prequalification class of the particular items that they will be working on as part of this project. The contract will be split up into two (2) phases. The first phase (Phase I) will be part of the primary pavement marking program and the second phase (Phase II) will begin following the completion of Phase I through the Fall of 2022. Phase I shall be finished by June 13th , 2022 and Phase II shall be finished by October 15th , 2022, unless approved by the engineer. This work consists of providing and applying the retroreflective permanent pavement markings in accordance with the most current version of the Michigan Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MMUTCD). All markings, shapes, spacing and dimensions shall conform to the current Michigan Department of Transportation Pavement Marking Standard Plans, MMUTCD or as modified by the plans. The successful bidder shall furnish performance and lien bonds each for not less than 100 percent of the total contract price
