**As of 5/13/2022 Project was awarded to Asphalt Maintenance Solutions, LLC award amount $ $391,895.22. 2022 Roadway Polymer-Modified Emulsified Asphalt Paving System (Micro Surfacing), (38 Roadways/127,246 SY) (Single Application Type A). Clarification deadline 3/22/2022 4:00 pm Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified or bank check, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of PennDOT Pub. 408, made payable to Lower Macungie Township, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid price. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in an amount equal to the Contract Price and meeting PennDOT Publication 408, Section 103.04 requirements. Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified per PennDOT Pub. 408, Section 102. Township reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all Bids. The Contract shall be completed within 30 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed The selected Contractor(s) shall provide a one (1) year Maintenance Bond, in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount as a condition of final payment.
