Site work for a water / sewer project in Everett, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Contractor Qualification Highway Division The work of this contract generally consists of the replacement of suspected lead water service connections in the City of Everett, Massachusetts, generally in the neighborhoods west of Ferry Street and north of Paris Street. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Sewer & Water, for the project with an estimated value of $1,000,000 will be required. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a BID BOND, CASH, or CERTIFIED CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price will be required when the successful Bidder delivers the executed Agreement to Owner. All bids for this project are subject to M.G.L. c.30, 39M, as amended. Attention is directed to the minimum wage rates to be paid as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Workforce Development and the weekly payroll record submittal requirements under the provisions of M.G.L. c. 149, 26 through 27D inclusive.
