Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and municipal facility.

The intent of this project is to improve the security and safety of traffic flow at the Department of Water Resources Central Facility. This project includes the cut and removal of selected concrete paving and installing new concrete pavement with limited concrete curbing and thermoplastic pavement markings. It also includes the installation of new vehicle swing and slide gates with gate operators and safety loops in the pavement. Several other safety improvements with the project include the installation of speed tables, stop signs, sidewalk, and decorative fencing with man gates. The project will also remove the existing control arms, wiring, bollards, and concrete bases. Power bollards will be relocated as part of the project. Bids are legal and binding upon the bidder when submitted. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. All Bidders are required to submit a Bid Bond or a certified check made payable to the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. The Bid Bond or certified check must be enclosed in the envelope with the sealed bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the sum of 100% of the total amount bid and provide insurance coverage as required by the contract documents.
