A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Estimated Project Value : $400,000 - $450,000 RAAC Borough of Rankin Carrie Furnace Redevelopment Project-Waterline Loop Phase 2 Work generally consists of the following: Mobilization & Demobilization Insurance, Bonds, and Permits Erosion and Sedimentation Control Install Waterline Pipe Loop Phase 2 and Appurtenances from the Existing Wilkinsburg-Penn Joint Water Authority Water System Site Restoration Modification of existing Storm Sewers and Structures Installation of new Storm Sewers and Structures Work indicated on the project drawings and specifications A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County, negotiable U.S. Government bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish an assurance of completion in the form of satisfactory performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price and certificate of insurance prior to award of the Contract. The Contractor awarded the Work shall provide construction maintenance securities as outlined in the Supplemental General Conditions of the contract documents. The RAAC reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the bidding, or to advertise for new proposals, if in the judgment of the RAAC, it is in their best interest.
