Horry County is seeking a source for factory-built modular/portable/multiplex buildings for education use as classroom(s). Project Location: Various locations throughout Horry County Horry County is seeking a source for factory-built modular/portable/multiplex buildings for education use as classroom(s). The District anticipates the need for an indefinite quantity of NEW, modular classrooms over a five-year contract period. We anticipate the utilization of a mix of modular classrooms with and without student restrooms, multiple fixture restrooms, staff restrooms, IT spaces and general storage along with administrative spaces. Units may be stand-alone or ganged together. All units shall be set-up and installed at various locations within the Horry County School District Horry County Schools is seeking a source for factory-built modular/portable/multiplex buildings for educational use as a classroom(s). Contractor proposing units for the District must offer quality construction that meets or exceeds the requirements set forth in the South Carolina Code of Laws, Chapter 43, Modular Building Construction Act as well as be in accordance with all requirements stated herein The Contractor shall provide necessary design, engineering, construction, Landscaping, Coordinate with HCS retained Architect for OSF approval and Certificate(s) of Occupancy, and delivery/installation of an indefinite quantity of NEW modular units over a five-year period. Anticipated units include a mix of modular classrooms with and without student restrooms. In addition, modular units may be required with multiple fixture restrooms, staff restrooms, IT spaces and general storage along with administrative spaces. These modular units must be capable of being a stand-alone unit or of being ganged together. The District anticipates that the ganged units will be a double loaded corridor arrangement with minimal exterior doors.
