As of May 10, 2022 This project is awarded to Commercial Industrial Corp. with awarded amount of $3,677,264.50. The Project consists of constructing approximately: 8,300 LF of 4" PVC water main; 11,400 LF of 6" PVC water main; 4,600 LF of 8" PVC water main; and 1,600 LF of 10" water main utilizing conventional open cut; and 400 LF of 4" FPVC water main; 2,100 LF of 6" FPVC water main; 700 LF of 8" FPVC water main; and 1,600 LF of 10" water main FPVC utilizing horizontal directional drilling methods. The project also includes construction of valves, fire hydrants, connections to existing mains, abandonment of existing water system components, replacement of water services, and associated restoration. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form Bidding Documents also may be examined at the office of the City Manager, 500 N. Main Street, Trenton, Florida 32693, (352) 463-4000, Monday through Friday (excluding Holidays). Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. To be considered qualified, Bidder shall be licensed to engage in the business of contracting in the State of Florida by the Construction Industry Licensing Board and shall have successfully completed, as prime contractor, a minimum of 3 projects of a similar nature involving water main/force main installation within the past 5 years, each having a minimum contract value of $500,000 with at least one project having a contract value in excess of $1,000,000.
