Only tenders prepared on the forms provided by the City of Mercier, including the duly completed appendices, will be taken into consideration. The Council of the City of Mercier does not undertake to accept either the lowest or any of the tenders received. All tenders must be accompanied by a tender guarantee, in the form of a certified check or a tender bond, for an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the tender (excluding taxes). Despite the pandemic and the resulting health measures, bidders still have the right to attend the opening of bids, but must comply with certain measures including the presentation of their health passport before being able to access the premises where the opening of said tenders. Performance bond and materials and services of each corresponding 50% is required.
