More specifically, the resurfacing work covers the following sectors: 5 e Rang Ouest, from Route 297 to Route à Désiré, over 2,650 m. 5 e Rang Est, approximately 3.05 km from Route 297 to the eastern end of the municipal boundary, over 600 m. 3e Rang Ouest at 1.2 km from Route Dion, over 600 m. The deadline for filing a complaint regarding the tendering or contracting process of public bodies is February 21, 2022. Bidders are required to comply with the contract management policy issued by the municipality of Baie-des-Sables. Tenderers must complete the declarations relating to said policy, which is attached to the tender documents and submit them to the Municipality with their tender. Only persons, corporations or companies holding a contractor's license and having their principal place of business in Quebec or, when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in a province or territory covered by this agreement, are eligible to bid. Tenders must be accompanied by a certified check issued to the order of the Municipality or a tender bond totaling 10% of the amount of the tender valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of opening of tenders. To be considered admissible, any tender must comply with the tender documents, be made on the forms provided with the estimate and be accompanied by the requested documents. The responsibility of the Municipality is in no way engaged due to the fact that the opinions or any documents conveyed by the electronic system contain any errors or omissions whatsoever. Consequently, any tenderer must make sure to obtain all the documents related to this call for tenders. The Municipality of Baie-des-Sables reserves the right not to accept either the lowest or any of the tenders received, without incurring any obligation, lawsuit or claim for costs or losses suffered by the tenderers as a result of such decisions. The Municipality also reserves the right to remove certain parts of the planned work from the contract. Completion of the work is conditional on obtaining government financial assistance and approval of financing procedures.
