Site work and new construction of a residential development in Newark, New Jersey. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The Newark Housing Authority ("NHA") is seeking proposals from private developers or development teams in partnership with NHA for the construction of a small community of single and two family homes at the former Bergen Street Villas site. The bedroom breakdown, density, design structure, and site plan is to be negotiated and agreed upon with the NHA. The NHA would require the developer to subdivide the lots, build the homes, and turnkey the units to the NHA. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted by Friday, February 25th, 2022 by 3:00 PM. All questions received before the deadline will be answered. The NHA reserves the right to accept any and all proposals, or to waive any informality on the proposal and the right to reject proposal, except with respect to non-curable documents. The NHA also reserves the right to award all or a portion of the award to one (1) or more responsive and responsible respondents. No proposal shall be withdrawn for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days subsequent to the due date of the proposal, without the written consent of the NHA.
