The City of Pittsburgh, Department of Public Works, seeks quotes for the fabrication and installation of reclaimed wood furniture for use in the new Highland Park Super Playground. Project includes the fabrication and installation of reclaimed wood stump steppers, wood stump stools, wood stump tables, and log benches with backs. The City's Department of Public Works (DPW) will provide the reclaimed wood from which the awarded bidder will fabricate outdoor park furniture. Vendor pricing is to include all of the following as incidental to, and included in, their requested quote price per unit: Pick up of reclaimed wood pieces from the City's DPW Forestry Division located in the Highland Park neighborhood. Transport of reclaimed wood to the vendor's workshop. Fabrication of wood stump steppers, wood stump stools, wood stump tables, and log benches with backs. Delivery of finished wood furniture to Highland Park Super Playground. City Project Manager will inform vendor of final installation location per piece. Installation of finished wood furniture onto provided concrete pad(s). Question Submission Deadline: February 18, 2022, 5:00pm The City reserves the right to request clarification of any bid before bid award. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any irregularity in Bidding. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish the necessary Bonds and Insurance Certificates. The City will award this project based on the City's discretion and may or may not include any or all bid alternatives. The City reserves the right to reject, for any reason, any or all bids if it is in the best interest(s) of the City to do so. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
