Urban redevelopment of a section of Bord-du-Lac-Lakeshore Road. The project will be divided into four specific sectors: sector 1 located between Dorval avenue and Mimosa avenue, sector 2 located between Mimosa avenue and Lilas avenue, sector 3 located between Lilas avenue and Tulip avenue and sector 4 located between Tulip avenue and Saint-Charles avenue. The project involves the construction of two lanes of traffic, on-street parking lots and a multi-level parking structure, construction of sidewalks at street level, installation of street furniture and development of a park on Dorval avenue, construction of cycle paths, street lighting, paving and landscaping. The project also includes work relating to the construction and repair of service networks and electrical installations, trees planting. Scope of work, budget and timelines of the project development are being finalized. Value of the project is not finalized and is an estimate. TIMELINE: Project implementation will be phased. The owner has awarded a civil engineering professional consulting firm for the design of the first construction phase followed in the report under CRM ID name Chemin Bord-du-Lac Revitalization. Working drawings of this phase are underway. According to the owner's preliminary scheduling a tender for the contractor of this phase will be issued in late spring/summer of the same year. The awarded project manager is working on the scope establishment of further project phases. Start of the project construction is not anticipated before mid-/late 2026. Subsequent phases are planned for 2027-2029 period.
