The purchase of the following materials and supplies, in accordance with Ordinance 2, of 2022 passed by City Council on February 7, 2022, as follows: 8 tons, more or less, activated carbon (coal based), with min iodine content of 600 or more 15,000 pounds, more or less, sodium silicoflouride with tradename Fluopray, made in Belgium by Prayon, N.V. ** 6,000 pounds, more or less, potassium permanganate CAROX (free flowing grade) 250,000 pounds, more or less, polyaluminum chloride (Delpac 20/20, 70% basicity, or approved equal) 48,000 gallons, more or less, liquid aluminum sulfate 13,000 gallons, more or less, caustic soda (25% solution) 59,000 gallons, more or less, sodium hypochlorite (12.5%, 3500 gallon delivery quantity) 2,000 gallons, more or less, orthophosphate (Sulfate or Chloride based) 100 approximate, water meters, various sizes 5/8 through 4 (Neptune touch read, with and without connections) ** Include price for 50 lb. shrink-wrapped pallets. Bids may be submitted for any or all of the above listed materials. However, bids for the entire lot shall be considered. When submitting your bid, if the price is not guaranteed for the contract period, you must indicate the price may be subject to change. In the event the price is not firm for the contract period, the bid may be awarded to another bidder at the discretion of the City of East Liverpool Water Department. All chemicals must meet or exceed A.W.W.A. specifications. The City of East Liverpool reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities in the best interest of the East Liverpool Water Department.
