El Paso County is seeking Request for Proposals from qualified Vendors to provide all labor, materials, and permits, if required, to have the maintenance facilities floors and truck wash bay walls recoated and resealed. Buyers Requirements General Requirements - Insurance Required - Contractors License Required - Onsite Maintenance Required - Warranty Information Required - Installation Required Questions are submitted online Yes The facility shall remain operational during the installation process. The area consists of fifteen (15) vehicle service bays, oil and lube storage, wash bay and welding shop. Work within these areas shall consist of the following items: A. To have work performed in a manner that allows for County maintenance operations to continue during project completion. B. Power wash bay floors to allow for a clean surface for application of protective coating. C. Repair any damages to current existing floor prior to coating application. D. Reseal and coat surface with an epoxy, polymer, or like coating. Coating shall provide long lasting protection from chemicals, be abrasion resistant, and provide a non-slip surface. E. Restripe all safety lines and floor markings. F. Strip and clean walls inside the truck wash bay. Repaint/seal walls with waterproof coating, Sherwin Williams Loxon primer and paint (or equivalent), to protect from constant exposure to various cleaning chemicals and water. G. Strip and clean flooring inside the truck wash bay and apply a waterproof, non-slip coating. H.
