The project consists of sanitary sewer pipe and manhole restoration with principal items of work including approximately 4,000 L.F. of 8" CIPP, 12,700 L.F. of 12" CIPP, and 100 V.F. of manhole lining and associated appurtenances. All Work Shall Be Completed Within 180 Consecutive Calendar Days Following Issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Owner Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informality or to Reject Any and All Bids. Each Bidder Must Deposit With His Bid, Security in the Amount, Form and Subject to the Conditions Provided in the Information for Bidders. Performance and Payment Bond(S) Each in the Amount of 100% of the Contract Price; With a Corporate Surety Approved by the Owner, Will Be Required From the Contractor. Each Bidder Must Be Licensed as a Contractor in the State of Alabama in Accordance With the Provisions Set Forth in Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama and Must Be Certified for the Type of Work for Which a Proposal Is Submitted. The Bidders Current State of Alabama License Number Must Appear on the Outside of the Sealed Envelope Containing His/her Bid. Attention to Bidders Is Particularly Called to the Requirements as to Conditions of Employment to Be Observed and Minimum Wage Rates to Be Paid Under the Contract, Section 3, Segregated Facilities, Section 109, Executive Order 11246 and Any Other Applicable Laws and Regulations of the Federal Government and the State of Alabama, if Required. No Bidder May Withdraw His/her Bid Within 30 Days After the Actual Date of Opening Thereof.
