Renovation of a fire / police facility in Eagle Lake, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Description of Repairs:o Remove and replace roof on Fire Station. o Remove and replace Insulation on roof. o Remove and replace gutters, rake and gable trim and preformed ridge. o Remove and replace ridge vents. o Install new closures on rake trim. o Install sealant on all sheet laps and trim laps. o Remove and replace deteriorated or rusted purlins. o Remove and replace roof skylights. o Remove and discard old chicken wire under insulation. Specifications: o 3" R10 insulation. o 26-gauge R-Panel Galvalume roof panels and trim. o Fiberglass skylights. o Clean up and haul away all trash and debris, clean up interior of Fire Station. City will retain old panels. Alternate Wall Bid: o Remove and replace U-Panel on walls of Fire Station. o Remove and replace insulation on walls. o Remove and discard old chicken wire. o Remove and replace trim on walls. Specifications: o 26-gauge Colored U-Panel wall panels. o 26-gauge Colored trim Contractor Responsibilities: o Contractor is responsible for verifying building dimensions and materials required to complete the project. The City of Eagle Lake reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities and/or informalities in any proposal, and to make an award in any manner, consistent with law, deemed to be the most advantageous to the City of Eagle Lake.
