Site work and new construction of a retail development in Lyons, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a retail development; and for site work for a retail development.

The work under this Contract will consist generally of the following: Construction of the Convenience Center No. 8 All work on the Project must be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days of date of notice to proceed.Bid shall be submitted on Bid Proposal Forms furnished for that purpose, in accordance with the Contract Documents and the Plans and Specifications, which are on file and may be reviewed at the office of the Toombs County Courthouse, 100 Courthouse Square, Lyons, Georgia 30436 and the office of Hofstadter and Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers, 4571 Arkwright Road, Macon, Georgia 31210.No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with Toombs County prior to the time set forth above, and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, payable to Toombs County, for 10 percent of the amount of the bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required Payment Bond and Performance Bond and Insurance Certificates. Bids arriving after the designated time will be returned unopened. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of bids. Toombs County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to overlook and/or disregard informalities or irregularities in the proposals.
