The project generally consists of the installation of a leachate pump station comprised of a precast concrete wet well and valve chamber, pumps, controls, electrical equipment, generator, piping and valves. The project also includes approximately 70 LF of 6" x 10" diameter double walled HDPE force main pipe and all other work in accordance with the Contract Documents. Upon failure to do so he shall forfeit the deposit as liquidated damages and the acceptance of the bid will be contingent upon the fulfillment of this requirement by the bidder. The Township reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities specified in the manner designated in the Specifications. The Township reserves the right to award this contract based on funds available. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids if in its opinion it is in the best interest to do so and to award the contract for any and/or all items. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. Bid packages are also available for inspection only at the office of the Monroe Twp. Utility Department at 143 Union Valley Rd, Monroe Twp, NJ 08831, between the hours of 8am-3pm After Substantial Completion, if CONTRACTOR shall neglect, refuse or fail to complete the remaining Work within the time specified for completion and readiness for final payment or any proper extension thereof granted by OWNER, CONTRACTOR shall pay OWNER $250.00 for each day that expires after the first time specified for completion and readiness for final payment.
