The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia ("BOR") as ("Owner"), on behalf of Augusta University ("AU") as ("User") is soliciting statements of qualifications from firms interested in providing program management services for the construction of a project known as Project No. PPV-40-2201, "15 th Street Parking Deck" at Augusta University, Augusta, Georgia. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks to identify potential providers of the above-mentioned services. Some firms that respond to this RFQ, who are determined by the Owner to be especially qualified, may be deemed eligible and may be invited to interview and offer proposals for these services. All respondents to this RFQ are subject to instructions communicated in this document and are cautioned to completely review the entire RFQ and follow instructions carefully. BOR reserves the right to reject any or all statements of qualifications or proposals, and to waive technicalities and informalities at their discretion. Augusta University is proposing the construction of a 5-story parking deck in the southwest corner of Augusta University's Health Sciences Campus. Located adjacent to the campus' residence halls, Oak and Elm Halls, the deck would provide approximately 270 spaces per level for a total of 1,350 spaces. The proposed site, Lot 1, is located south of the residence halls and currently contains 294 spaces, including 14 spaces that are Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible. The project will increase overall parking capacity and serve Augusta University (AU) faculty, staff, and students, providing spaces closer to the Health Sciences Campus core and improving safety for all users. The preliminary stated cost limitation (SCL) for construction and design, cost of the Project is estimated at $34,000,000. The final SCL may be revised by the Owner due to final programmatic requirements, funding availability or other circumstances Project Schedule The Design-Build (BD) services are anticipated to commence by April 2022 with construction documents and GMP anticipated by September 2022. Project financing to pay for construction will be available Fall, 2022. Construction is to be completed no later than January 1, 2024.
