Bridge E-18 Replacement - Leavenworth, KS All questions shall be submitted in writing to mkeal@benesch.com no later than March 3rd. Each bidder shall file with its bid a bid bond, a cashier's check or a certified check drawn on any acceptable bank, made payable to Leavenworth County , Kansas, in the amount if not less than fiver percent(5%) of the total bid,; which shall be retained by Leanvenworth County until a Contract for the projects has been exected. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any technicalities or irregularities therein. Copies of plans and specifications can be seen or purchased for a Non-Refundable fee on-line at www.drexeltech.com in their eDistribution plan room, additional assistance is available at distribution@drexeltech.com. Information regarding this project can be found in the "Public Jobs" link on the website. Contractors desiring the Contract Documents for use in preparing bids may also obtain a set of such documents from Drexel Technologies Liquidated damages shall be assessed against Contractor, at a rate of $ 500.00/day for each and every calendar day the work remains incomplete over the specified completion time. Once construction has begun, contractor has 180 calendar days to complete construction.
