The work to be done is as follows: - Furnish all labor, materials and equipment to construct the following: Bituminous seal coat approximately 77,500 square yards, 1,160 tons of 3/8-inch roadway-cover aggregate, 22,480 gallons of MC-3000 binder bitumen, 225 stations of painted pavement markings. The Contractor shall commence construction within such time and work continuously as to be completed by the date indicated in the "Notice of Hearing and Notice to Bidders", and the Contractor shall forfeit $200.00 per working day required to complete the contract after the aforesaid completion date. At the hearing, the City will receive and consider any objections made by any interested party, to the Plans and Specifications, proposed form of Contract, and the estimate of cost for the project.
