The City of New Orleans (City) and New Orleans Aviation Board (NOAB) solicits bids to obtain an emergency repair contract for the replacement of the Metal Roof of Building 10 at the South Campus of the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (Airport) made necessary by Hurricane Ida. The requested services include (but are not limited to) the following: 1. The Contractor will be responsible for the gathering, loading, hauling, and disposing of the identified metal roofing, flashing, coping, trim, and gutters at the locations described below. Standard safety procedures shall be implemented, and qualified personnel shall be contracted, to successfully complete all tasks. Contractor shall keep the building(s) dried-in from the time of Notice To Proceed through completion and acceptance by NOAB. Scope also includes procurement and disposal of all materials and/or equipment necessary for the repairs/replacement. All materials shall be Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or equivalent equal. Contractor shall take all precautions to prevent any construction materials and debris from entering the secured air side of building. All work shall be completed within 60 calendar days of issuance of Notice To Proceed (NTP). 2. All dimensions are approximate. Contractor is to verify all dimensions and estimated quantities. 3. Contractor to submit before and after pictures of the work areas. Include Latitude and Longitude coordinates on the pictures of each work area. 4. Below are the locations of roof to be replaced. 5. Coordination with tenants and owners for access and staging. 6. Disposal or recycling of all demolished building materials and building contents. Hazardous materials will be properly disposed per environmental guidelines at authorized collection centers. Primary and secondary routes should be considered when hauling and disposing of debris to and from collection centers. Contractor shall provide proof of proper disposal (Receipts, landfill tickets, etc). Contractor shall notify MSY upon completion of work to schedule final inspection and acceptance, prior to release of final payment. 7. Access to the airside work areas shall be through Gate 167.
