The Owner, the City of Salmon Arm requests quotes for the "Inspection of Wastewater Pollution Control Centre (WPCC) Outfall" The City of Salmon Arm Waste Pollution Control Centre (WPCC) outlets into Shuswap lake via an approximately 915m long 560mm (22 inch) High Density Polyethylene pipe that was installed in 1978. The pipe has reached approximately 50% of its anticipated life span. The City's WPCC Operating Certificate requires an annual inspection of the outfall. The outfall pipe is difficult to inspect as it is buried with the majority of the pipe submerged below lake level. The City wishes to have a video inspection and condition evaluation completed for the full length of outfall pipe and outlet or would entertain a proposal for an alternative method to complete a full inspection of pipe/outfall. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
