The Town of Smithers invites tenders from qualified contractors for Sewer Flushing and Video Inspection, Contract 2022-03. This Contract consists of supplying the labour, materials, and equipment to perform storm and sanitary sewer cleaning and video inspection within Town of Smithers. The general scope includes approximately 3,200 meters sanitary sewer, and 1,400 meter storm sewer. The Substantial Completion date is July 29th, 2022. Tenders must be accompanied by tender security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total tender price, payable to the Town of Smithers. Mail, courier, or hand deliver completed documents to the General Manager of Integrated Growth and Development in an opaque, sealed envelope marked TENDER: 2022-03 Sewer Flushing and Video Inspection. Tenders will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers at the Smithers Municipal Office. The Town of Smithers reserves the right to waive informalities in or reject any or all Tenders or to accept the tender deemed most favourable in the interest of the Town. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted; award is subject to the Town's Purchasing Policy.
