Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Iowa City, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of an educational facility and data center facility.

THIS PROJECT BUILDS ON THE RECENT UPGRADE DATA CENTER UPS PROJECT AND IMPROVES POWER DISTRIBUTION IN THE POMERANTZ FAMILY PAVILION DATA CENTER. THE PROJECT INSTALLS OWNER FURNISHED POWER DISTRIBUTION UNITS (PDU) AND REMOTE POWER PANELS (RPP) AND RECONFIGURES EXISTING POWER CIRCUITS TO DATA CENTER EQUIPMENT RACKS. CONTRACTOR WILL FURNISH TWO ADDITIONAL RPPS AND RETROFIT KITS TO ADD BRANCH CIRCUIT MONITORING TO EXISTING EQUIPMENT PANELS. ALL WORK WILL BE CONDUCTED IN AN OPERATING DATA CENTER. NO ARCHITECTURAL, MECHANICAL, FIRE PROTECTION, FIRE DETECTION WORK WILL BE INCLUDED AS PART OF THIS PROJECT.
