As of December 13, 2023, a firm has been selected for this solicitation. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Determine the feasibility of developing a walking and bicycling path, which is also handicapped accessible, for persons walking, bicycling or in wheelchairs from the southernmost portion of Rockland County (Palisades, NY) to the northernmost portion of Rockland County (Stony Point, NY), along or near the Hudson River, whenever possible. The County previously developed some proposed maps that were used internally to discuss the possibility of developing such a shared-use path. These maps are included in this RFP as Attachments 1-3. Prospective consulting and planning firms can access any and all available Rockland County generated mapping resources, with the ability to download GIS data and/or view in interactive applications, on the Rockland County GIS It is encouraged that you visit this site prior to submitting a response to this RFP.
