Renovation of an educational facility in Marion, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of March 4,2022, this project has been awarded to Heartland Mechanical, awarded amount not available.** Work to be completed during the summer of 2022 and the summer of 2023 shall include the removal of seven existing rooftop multi-zone units, interior ductwork modifications, removal of interior ACT ceiling assemblies and light fixtures, masonry wall modifications, removal of existing casework and residential kitchen equipment, flooring removal, and the demolition of approximately 175 interior doors. New work to include the installation of new curb adapters, EDPM roofing flashing, approximately 54 VAV ceiling-mounted units, insulating of existing and new interior ductwork, gas piping and electrical modifications, gypsum soffits, painting, VCT and carpet tile flooring, ACT ceiling assemblies, and LED light fixtures. Corresponding Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Systems will also be included. Alternate Bid #1 Work to include the removal of approximately 7 exterior door assemblies and install of new aluminum storefront door assemblies and access control components as described in the construction documents. There is a separate renovations project at this facility that is scheduled concurrently with this project and it shall be the responsibility of both contractors to coordinate their project and work schedules, including the work schedules of the subcontractors, with each other.
