Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Columbus, Ohio. Working plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

The work consists of The work consists of asphalt milling/demolition, asphalt paving, concrete demolition and hauling, storm water improvements, pavement markings, electrical and lighting, seeding and mulching. The engineer's estimate for this project is $9,062,006 (Base Bid), $2,466,328 (Base Bid +Add. Alt. #1). CRAA will reject any bids or unsolicited bid addenda that are received after the deadline. CRAA will reject late bids regardless of the cause for the delay. The CRAA reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities, irregularities and technical defects of a minor nature. Bidders shall make a good faith effort to obtain Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation of 8.28% of the dollar value of the Contract in accordance with the FAA DBE Program, 49 CFR 26, and the goals established by the CRAA Acceptable surety documents in an amount equal to 10% of the Bid Price including Alternates: An irrevocable Letter of Credit, or Certified Check, or Cashier's Check Acceptable surety document in an amount equal to 100% of the Bid Price, including Alternates: A Bid and Performance Bond executed by the bidder and a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio and satisfactory to the CRAA, in substantial compliance with 49 CFR Part 18.36(h)(2) and the Ohio Revised Code Section 153.571 and a Payment Bond in accordance with 49 CFR Part 18.36(h)(3). Bids submitted by companies that did not attend the mandatory pre-bid will not be considered. The cut-off date for all questions is 12 noon, Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Mobilization o Security badging requirements o Complete driver's training requirements o Complete gate guard training o Procurement of materials o Submit and obtain approval of Contractor's Quality Control Program o Submit and obtain approval for all job mix formulas o Submit and obtain approval for structure shop drawings The Taxiway project includes, but is not limited to the following items: o Temporary access locations and haul routes o Safety and security items - barricades, signage, airfield lighting circuit coordination o Install erosion control measures - temporary and permanent o Asphalt pavement milling and removal - various depths o Composite pavement removal - various depths o Crushed aggregate base - preparation of existing P-209 o New P-401 and P-403 asphalt pavement o Temporary and permanent pavement markings P-620 o Remove and/or adjust existing utilities o Remove or replace existing light fixture bases and lighting adjustments o Mulch and seed disturbed areas o Perform all other miscellaneous items on the plans and/or in the specifications
