Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in McCall, Idaho. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

Solicitation- This project consists of design (taking the government drwawings to a fabricator and having them do shop drawings), purchasing, delivering and installing a 60 foot span prefabricated steel truss trail bridge and 2 precast concrete grade beams. The site is remote and will require the use of a helicopter for transport. The contractor is responsible for coordinating the weight of the various bridge components with the available helicopter. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The site is remote and will require the use of a helicopter for transport. The contractor is responsible for coordinating the weight of the various bridge components with the available helicopter. B. The existing bridge will be removed. All nonnative components must be removed from the forest. Existing stringers will be left on site but moved from across the river as directed by the COR. C. Quantities associated with this work are identified in the Schedule of Items. D. All work shall be in compliance with the contract documents. Work includes, but is not limited to: purchase, transportation, and installation of a new pedestrian/stock/2 wheel motorized bridge, grade beams, and approaches as per the attached plans, and the removal of the existing bridge structure and components. The Contracting Officers Representative (COR) will designate a staging/laydown/assembly area at the construction site. Limited camping for project personnel will be allowed at the site with permission of the COR. Staging of materials for the project will be allowed in designated areas inside the project boundary if approved in writing by the COR at the time of the project implementation. Any detours or disruptions to public access will require prior notification and approval from the COR and CO. The contractor must obtain this approval a minimum of 14 days prior to any disruptive action. o Depending on the snow year, the site is commonly accessible between July 15th and October30th of most years. However the best time to install the bridge would likely be between July 15th and September 30th
