Rebuild twelve 24" pneumatic butterfly valves and related appurtenances. Replace plant process air compressors, driers and ancillaries. Install new equalization basin overflow pipes in the yard and filter surge pipe in the headhouse. Provide electrical upgrades as needed for all new equipment and new integration and controls hardware and software upgrades for the valves and air compressors. Questions concerning this solicitation must be emailed no later than Wednesday, March 2, 2022 by 1:00 PM Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 5% Bid Price Total.The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of 95% of the contract, with the condition that he shall comply in all respects with the terms, conditions and agreements of the contract.The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Payment Bond in theamount of 95%of the contract for the protection of all subcontractors and material suppliers in accordance with Section 17-130 State Finance and Procurement of the Annotated Code of Maryland.The successful bidder shall be required to furnish, a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 10% of the final contract price. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts of bids when, in its judgment, the public interest will be served thereby.
