Base Bid Specifications Prepare final grade and install new 3" compacted asphalt road surface on approximately 4 blocks of 3rd street, from 'G' Street to 'K' Street, and 5 blocks of 1st street from 'A' street to 'F' street. 1st Street Shape and finish to final grade a 20' wide road with a 1% crown 3rd street Shape and finish to final grade a 24' wide road with a 2% crown. Bid Alternate Prepare final grade and install new 3" compacted asphalt road surface on approximately 26,000 ft2 of parking lot located at the MC Fitness/ Boys and Girl's Club area. This location is adjacent to 1st street located at 123 South 'C' street. Contractor is responsible for measuring in square feet for material. The City of Rupert will provide traffic control for the project. City crews will remove existing asphalt and provide any fill material. The City of Rupert will also be responsible for pre-cleaning and bring all manholes and water valves up to grade before or after paving. Contractors, subcontractors and specialty contractors shall be licensed as Public Works Contractors in accordance with the Idaho Public Works Licenses Act 54-1902. Work for the project needs to be competed no later than May 15th, 2022. The City of Rupert will require a work schedule at least seven (7) days prior to project start so affected property owners can be notified. The City of Rupert reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to award separate bids for individual project sections, to waive any informalities, and to reject any non-conforming, non-responsive or conditional bids.
