Renovation of a museum in Granite Falls, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
City of Granite Falls Andrew J. Volstead House The City of Granite Falls completed a building conditions assessment identifying various repair needs for the Andrew J Volstead house. The house is a National Historic Landmark owned by the City of Granite Falls. The city was recently awarded grant funding from the Minnesota Historical Society for a structural engineer and historical architect team to complete bid ready construction/plan drawings. As a result, the city is now soliciting proposals from a licensed structural engineer and architect. Drawings will only focus at this time on exterior improvements to the house identified in the conditions assessment at this time. Proposals received, will be considered by the February 22nd council meeting.
