The Project consists of CCTV (Closed Circuit television) inspection and cleaning of the sewer lines, the installation of CIPP (Cured-in-Place Pipe) Liner for existing 8" sewer lines in locations as identified in the Construction Plans, the rehabilitation of existing manholes, sanitary sewer line point repairs and street repair as required. A Bid Proposal shall be submitted for items of work with additive and/or deductive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Failure to show these items on the outside of the envelope containing the bid will result in the bid being returned to the Bidder unopened. No Bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the actual opening, without the Owner's consent. The successful Bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount awarded. Attorneys-in-fact who sign Bid Bonds or Payment Bonds and Performance Bonds must file with each bond a certified, effective, and dated copy of their power of attorney. The successful Bidder must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act which requires that all laborers and mechanics shall be paid at rates not less than those determined by the Department of Labor to be prevailing for the locality in which the project is located. The Town of Brooksville, Mississippi reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept any bid which is deeded most favorable to the Town.
