The Division of Wildlife Resources is in need of planting services located in 4 areas of central Utah. The purpose of this RFQ is to enter into a purchase order with the responsive and responsible vendor that submits the lowest cost to provide: Shrub Planting Services according to Attachment B - Scope of Work. Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) is acquiring services in this contract to provide for wildlife habitat improvement by planting 6,570 shrubs to improve winter range for Big Game and other wildlife. This task order includes the Contractor to furnish labor, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals The Central Region Shrub Planting project is a contract to hire someone to plant 6,570 shrub seedlings. The seedlings are grown in D40 pots that measure 2.5" X 10" pots. They also have VEXAR mesh protectors surrounding them. The project is located at several different sites. Each site is at a different wildlife management area within central, UT. 1,000 seedlings are to be planted at the Wallsburg WMA (Heber, UT). 1,595 seedlings are to be planted at the Black Hills WMA (Ephraim, UT). 2,975 seedlings are to be planted at the Santaquin WMA (Santaquin, UT). 1,000 seedlings are to be planted at the Dairy Fork WMA (Dairy Fork, UT) Total Shrub Seedlings: 6,570 For specific locations, see attached KMZ google earth files. Access to the sites: Access onto the project sites is provided by a combination of paved highways, county dirt surface roads and jeep trails. Four (4) wheel drive vehicles are recommended in and around the project area. It will be the contractor's responsibility to get the equipment to the work site
