Window System Replacement at the Atlantic County Criminal Court Complex Located at 4997 Unami Boulevard, Mays Landing, Nj 08330 (Bid Bond and Surety Required) This project shall include all necessary labor, materials, tools, and appliances to complete the construction in a first quality, workmanlike manner. The Work as defined by the General and Supplementary Conditions, the extent of which is covered in the Contract Documents and is described herewith (briefly) and without force of effect upon the Contract Documents. Window Replacement: a. Removal and replacement of windows where indicated in the contract documents. b. Work includes, generally, windows along the south and partial east sides of the building; windows begin at the 2nd floor level and extend through the 3rd floor. c. Work includes providing window film on existing windows where indicated. d. Work include window testing after new windows are installed. e. Work includes protection of existing interior and exterior finishes and restoration of existing finishes damaged during construction. f. Work includes protection of existing paved and unpaved areas, and restoration of surfaces damaged during construction. g. Temporary facilities necessary for the performance of the work, including but not limited to temporary weather protection and temporary construction barriers necessary to separate the work areas from occupied areas of the building. Temporary weather protection shall be provided at all times as necessary to protect the building interior from the effects of heat, cold and inclement weather. Temporary construction barriers shall be provided as necessary to create an air tight barrier between the work area and occupied areas of the building, and may consist of reinforced polyethylene sheeting. h. Work includes preparation for protection of existing conditions including lawns and paving. a. Removal of all furnishings or loose equipment as required to accommodate the scope of this contract prior to the start of work and subsequent reinstallation of furnishings after final completion. b. Access to standard single phase electrical service for light power equipment and tools required to perform the work. The contractor shall be responsible for the supply of temporary generators for three phase electrical service when and if required. c. Provisions for access to the work area. The County reserves the right to schedule an optional pre-bid conference, and/or site visitation. Itis recommended to attend, and the scheduled date, time, and location would be indicated in the Advertisement for Bid.
